Update on Harris Academy Battersea?

Harris Academy Battersea has had an amazing turnaround, if you believe the press - but I was wondering whether anyone had first hand experience that they could share?

Friends son is there - now
Year 9 - appears happy. But would advise you to see for yourself whether it fits your child. Plenty to choose from around here.

I don't know the school personally but have just looked at the stats. Their progress scores are wow and GCSE results excellent. The intake is mainly the local coucil estate, though, isn't it? Depends on how snobby you'd feel about that.
