We’ve just received our son’s CAT scores for Year 6, and he scored 130 with high Quantitative/Spatial and lower Verbal. As he is applying to Eton we want to see what these scores mean via a vis his odds of admission - assuming his ISEB scores (to be taken later this year) are correlated.
Outside of academics, he’s got a good mix of music awards, high level football/rugby/cricket, clubs, etc - and he’s well liked by teachers etc, hence his overall reference should be supportive.
There’s a few threads on Mumsnet about this but additional thoughts are greatly appreciated. Is there anyone out there who has been through the Eton process recently - positively or negatively - that can shed some light on this?
Thank you very much in advance.
