Bablake and king Henry have same exam date for year 7 entrance exam this year. Is it same for every year or only this year the dates are same?

It's always the same as it's the same exam, you just choose which school in the foundation you are applying to, and sit it there. You cannot apply to both schools. 2 DS's through B, so am biased!

All the kids from my year I know who went to Bablake now work in restaurant/retail management... most of them dropped out of uni.

Had a very good friend at Bablake that said once she left school and went to uni Bablake was viewed as more a of a sad joke private school by other students...

I left school 10yrs ago but still have siblings and cousins in secondary.

King Henry's has always seemed much more exclusive.

Right... about the rather bizarre comments up thread - I went to Bablake and have a degree, a masters and 2 post grad qualifications (gotta love a career change!) Not perfect and the pastoral care when I was there left a lot to be desired but certainly academic standards were always high!

Bablake ad Henry’s offer mediocre outcomes at GCSEs and Alevels. Try the Warwick private schools; they are far more superior. Just judge by looking at grade percentage' un destinations of all schools.

Photos are from the Times School Guide.

I went to Bablake Secondart and loved it. Have a degree and postgrad degree. I also went to Henry’s prep and junior - I didn’t like them as much. Staff were not as caring.
My brother also went there, degree and several post grad qualifications.

My children are about to start. The feedback from other parents has been amazing. When visiting we loved the warmth and care staff seemed to show.
