Start using Mumsnet Premiumchipping norton secondary school or private??
(3 Posts)It’s about to have a new headteacher in September. A good friend has previously worked for him and can’t rate him highly enough. She thinks he will be amazing there. I would definitely give it a go.
I know lots of children at Chipping Norton School, although my daughter goes elsewhere, and they are all very happy with the school. It seems to have got to grips with the problems of a few years ago and is now a very different school and the children seem happy and flourish academically. Why not should give it a go – you can always change later.
We are having a last minute dilemma over choice of secondary school. We missed our 1st two choices and ended up with going to chipping norton secondary school. But are having reservations, our child is quiet but studious, and has done well at phis current primary school. Chipping norton has had some bad press i know, but we feel our child may get lost in a big school, and wonder if it would be worth the extra expense of paying for private.
