Summer Biology GCSE revision course for biology-London

My dd (Y10) finds biology challenging and I’m looking for a short summer revision course for her.

Any recommendations or other suggestions?

We are in West London.

TIA

I sent DS on a Justin Craig chemistry/biology four-day course over the Easter holiday (two days on each subject). He said he found it helpful, though it mostly covered stuff he'd done in Year 9 (bearing in mind that the course was Easter, and Y9 presumably teaches a lot of essential GCSE topics, not entirely surprising perhaps). They do take information from the student about what types of things they want to cover, are they doing GCSE or IGCSE, what they've learned etc, so it struck me as quite personalised at the set-up stages, though I'm not sure how much that actually translated into practice once they got into the classroom.

DS still didn't do particularly well in the Y10 EOY exams, so I won't deny I was a bit disappointed, but he's a constant underachiever and I suspect his end of year exams reflected much more about him than they did about a revision course. What I will say about Justin Craig is that they seemed quite willing to take questions and discuss (rather than "what date? What's your card number" IYSWIM!!) so you can probably get more information about what they'll be covering if you give them a call.

Course was at King's Wimbledon, but they also used Greycoat in Westminster as a venue.

I don't know if I'd do it again. It was a lot of money for not sufficient return in DS's case, but that's to do with his reluctance to revise; no point sending him on courses for him not to improve. He can not improve free of charge at my kitchen table. But I know of at least one other parent who had a very positive result indeed for her very hard-working DD.

Nonetheless, will be watching to see other responses.

Thank you MrsSteptoe. Will take a look at Justin Craig.

Anyone have any other suggestions?
