Controlling wifi use (so homework gets done)

Our dd spends hours on her laptop claiming to do her homework - but most of the time is watching/doing something else. We are looking into easy to use devices that control wifi, so we can put timers on wifi use at home. Anyone got any ideas of the best devices out there - or how do you control wifi use in your home. Most of dd's homework is set on a laptop (she doesn't have an iPhone so that is not yet a problem).

We use Qustodio. You can use it on tablets, phones and PCs, limit Internet, and block apps and websites. You can also see what's being accessed via an app on your phone (and block it if you feel like it.

It's excellent.

www.qustodio.com/en/

There's a free version that you can try out, but if you want the specific blocking options it's about £35 per year, but that covers up to 5 devices.
