Doing the bare minimum

An hour to an hour and a half a night is plenty

It is possible to do just enough to get good grades.
I feel sorry for kids these days.
They need to have some time to see friends, exercise, do hobbies.
They need time to nurture their mental health too.

Go easy.
That's a lot, plus what's happening in school.
Time to rest the brain and process the information is key.
We have a large number of youngsters with severe exam Anxiety as. Result of 'not doing enough' attitudes.

Remember they will also be doing a lot in school. Normally the last few months, lessons are just revision, as they will have finished the course content. Same for A-Levels.

I don't mind bare minimum at all. It seems rather sane.

I also have a DS in y11 so I know how you feel re are they doing enough....how I look at it is what do they want to do next what grades are needed and are they on track if not talk to them on how they are going to get the grades needed.

In relation to their predicted's again are they on track how did they do in their mocks and tests since mocks again are they on track? If your DS is on track then I wouldn't get hung up about the amount of hours he is revising as he is clearly doing enough, where revision is concerned its about the quality not the quantity.
