Just read some old comments.......and they really are old. The School is on the up, with great teaching and support for the kids going there. It produces well rounded students who can reach and exceed their potential . This is not achieved just by the school, but in co-operation with full family support.
The students do not feel like "grammar school failures" and are happy to be there.

Great. It’s Catholic though and some parents do not want this.

Even the “looked after” children in the Admisdions criteria are to be Catholic so it is highly selective and less than half the places in y7 are for children not already in the primary school. I think children travel a long way to go to this school and are selected by religion. It should do well on that basis.
