Yellis score

DD just did her Yellis exam in Year 10. I think it has something to do with reasoning which DD has never really done so maybe she is at a disadvantage but anyway here are her scores which are roughly what she got because I don't remember fully. Could someone explain what they mean?

Vocab 120
Math 118
Patterns 126

Essentially, nothing.

Yellis is a statistical tool used by schools to judge expected progress at gcse level. An individual score/ resulting predictions mean nothing about future attainment really, but is a tool with which your child’s teacher will be beaten over the head with at a future date...

Your child is an individual and yellis is really only useful when looking at statistically significant numbers (many hundreds or thousands).
