I convinced my DDs to go to a school with preforming visual arts after one of them passed the exam for art. Their brother is very happy settled in yr 9 at a different school (which they could have gone in as sibbling). It seems now they hate the school and dont want to go there.. they cant find girls to make freinds with, school is unreasonabley strict (which i agree in some cases) and they are not happy. They blame me for convincing them to go there when they wanted all along to go to their brother's school (where they also have some of their old school frinds.) I try to explain to them it takes time to get used to a new school and make friends but I deeply start feeling a guilt of weather I have done the right thing directing them to what I thought will be good for them?.. Althoug their school consider to be a good school and yes I know, "I chose it".., I feel like I might have made a mistake if they are so unhappy.. is there anyway back?.. I know it is not fair to take a place of someone else who realy wanted it and then to give it up but at the end of the day I want my girls to be happy and I am sure it will be easier for them at same school as their brother's Have any of you experienced a similar sutuation and can recommand what to do? Who shal I speak to? Where do I inquire about moving school?..my son's school/girls school?..

Speak to your local authority to see if there are spaces at the other school. If there are, then apply for a place. If awarded, then contact the current school and say that she will be leaving and has a place at xxx school
