Hi, I'm looking for a nurturing, Christian school for my DS for year9. He likes sport but isn't sporty, loves DT, I think he would enjoy CCF, he isnt very academic, currently finds the playground hard work (he is in yr5), he is getting much better making and keeping friends but he always thinks everyone is mean...

Would MC suit him?

Have you considered Milton Abbey?

EmpireLine Would you consider Milton abbey to be a strong Christian school i.e. Is the head an active Christian? This is important to me.

Do you have a son at MA

He sounds like a good fit for Ampleforth.

Monkton is great - our 3 kids have loved it. Fantastic caring community, active Christian Union (over 80 pupils turn up each week because they want to) if it's not your thing - it isn't an issue, great results, lots of sports teams, give it a go attitude - you don't have to be an elite sportsman to be part of a team, art & music very strong, lots do Gold D of E. House system is best we've ever come across - each child cared for and nurtured whether they are a day or boarding pupil, some day pupils stay until 9pm at night to do prep, supper, activities (all included in the fees) - all houses run by Christian couples. Delightful teachers who know the children very well - pastoral care second to none. Can't fault it.
