Help with sixth form choices - Charterhouse or The King's School, Canterbury?

My daughter is thinking about going to either Charterhouse or The King's School, Canterbury for sixth form and I was wondering whether any of you have any experience with these schools that you could share. We know all the facts and figures but it would be great if we could also have an insider's opinion on either or both of these schools, especially any issues that you may have encountered.

We looked at lots of places for my DD last year for 6th form. Discounted Charterhouse as too much weekly boarding and only really seemed interested in what girls would bring in academics (probably wrong but just what she felt). However if you want to know about wider school options let me know.
