Steiner School for 13 y o boy?

Hi,

My 13 y o ds is very unhappy at school. He is a sensitive, quirky boy who has been suffering with anxiety and anger issues. I'm thinking about alternatives for him and I've arranged to visit a Steiner school soon. I'd really appreciate any thoughts or experiences of Steiner schools for teens. Thank you! :)

I don't know too much about Steiner to be honest but I grew up in Devon near the Totnes school and I now live nr the ring wood one. I have friends who sent their kids. If your family have similar values to Steiner it may work but if you are all into computers, gaming and social media then I would say it's a huge no no!!! Have you been to look around? Met other Steiner families? I would find out why his peer group is like too

Be careful with Steiner, some teach the extreme side of Steiner views, some gloss over that. Either way, it is present in the Steiner philosophy.

Where in the country are you OP?
