exhausted Y5 secondary visit survivors thread

First visits to local secondaries this year. I never go out in the evenings so the late nights after work have left me shattered blush .

And having actually seen the local secondaries I'm now in a blind panic about where to send my PFB in 2018.

I have 6 schools to visit in the next three weeks. Is your ds/d in year 5?

I'm a veteran of these events (four children at two different secondary schools). They are exhausting at the best of times: very crowded and everyone is a bit fraught because it's a big decision. Once you've heard one speech from a headteacher, you've pretty much heard them all.

Try not to panic, at least you have another year to think about it.

Yes, DS is year 5 reality.

We only have two to choose from, did the catchment one last year and going to the non catchment one on Monday with everything crossed that we get into it
