They say they have 120 places in total for Year 7, and 12 of these go straight to music scholarships. The next allocation of places goes to SEN and siblings. As there are 600 pupils in the school, I'm wondering if there are actually any places left for proximity places! I've rung to ask the school directly, but they clearly don't want to give this information out, as they just say vague things like 'We never know how many siblings there will be', and when I've requested last year's figures, 'I don't have that information to hand'. I've tried emailing, but got no answer at all. Would anyone with kids at the school be able to give me an idea? Am considering moving my whole family closer to get a place, but obviously don't want to do this if there is little or zero chance.
