St Edmunds Ware - staff turnover and discipline

Hi,

I have a son at the school. I'm panicking a little about the high numbers of new staff coming in - out of 90 staff in total, 30 this year are new. Many just fresh out of college training. Just wondering if any one else either at the school or at other's have experience of what staff turnover is 'typically like' at a school?

The inexperienced staff seem to give out a ton of detentions, many my son claims (not for him!) seem pretty frivolous.
