Hello there!
Does anyone know about the state secondary schools in Eastbourne?
We're considering a move there. We are looking for somewhere for academic children with good facilities for sports, drama and music and good GCSE results.
Also, are there any other options apart from Sussex Downs for A-levels? Is it well-regarded for academic children? If it isn't, where else can children go?
I do know about Gildredge House - but it's very oversubscribed, so I wondered what the other options were. Do any children go outside Eastbourne for their A-levels?
Private won't be an option for us - but I'm worried that all the private schools there might mean the state schools there don't provide as well for academic children. I hope I'm over-worrying!
I'd be really grateful for any pointers! Thank you!
