King Henry VIII or Princethorpe?

I'm looking at both of these schools for my daughter. She's very academic but loves sports as well. I've seen and am impressed with both for different reasons. KH seems to be more academic than Princethorpe, but the latter seems as though it might develop the whole person better. Any advice from those who know more about these schools?

I have a relative whose DD goes to Princethorpe - the sports facilities are fantastic and its set in beautiful countryside and the pastoral care is supposed to be really good. Henry VIII seems to be well regarded but some of its facilities are not as good with their fields being a few miles out of the city.

Where will your DD travel from - travelling might be something you may want to take into consideration.

Thank you for your message. I know, the school run could be a problem. Wish it were closer to a station - the advantage of King Henrys.

Princethorpe has organised bus services so you may want to check the timetables and prices. Would definitely recommend not doing the school run, as relative says it can get really congested at pick up times.

Kings Henrys is very convenient for those able to use the train.

Have you looked at Kings High in Warwick.

I haven't looked at Kings High as Warwick is just too far away, but thanks anyway.

We sent ours to KHVIII over Princethorpe. We thought about it for a while, but in the end it came down to academic results. KHVIII does better and is also open about its results. Princethorpe do a good job of hiding theirs because they know they are not as good.
