my ds did his pre test for harrow on the 17/18th of November. Have any of your children sat for this pre test recently? have you heard back? how long after sitting the test would we be likely hear back from them?

ah ok, I know several boys at our school who sat it too and they have not heard anything either - and I am not sure as to the process as we did not have to sit this, but from reading the blurb on their website, I dont think you will know until they call you for the interview.. Good luck

I have just heard that the results are out for all the boys who applied from our school. Mixed bag of results though, Where some very talented boys did bot get through. (I kind of thought it was just a weeding out of the weakest, but it does not look like it!)
I hope you got a positive result!

Hi earsarehurting, thank you so much for letting me know. I still haven't heard anything yet. My ds is back at school tomorrow. Did the prep school give out the feedback or were letters sent out to their homes from Harrow?

The waiting is so hard! I am sorry you dont know yet. I think they found out by email, but to be honest I never asked if the email was from the prep or from Harrow. Sorry, not much help Im afraid.
I will make sure to ask when I see them tomorrrow.

Mmm it's not looking good for us. I did think it was a long shot. Ah I just wish they didn't keep us waiting. I'm worried that my ds will find out at school tomorrow. I'd rather find out before him so I can tell him gently. This is so stressful

Plea - if it is any comfort - In my experience - bad news are most often left to parents to convey. If you dont hear tomorrow, consider giving the admissions office a buzz as it seems most people have hard . As I said - I know several with a no, so perhaps no news are good news??
