Please recommond some classical reading books for Y10&11

Can anyone let me know what books should my DS read? He is currently in Y10, and really enjoys reading. But his interests is a bit narrow, mainly focus on adventure, thriller, war history etc.

For the new GCSE it would be good to read a range of older fiction. You could try him with some classuc detectuve fiction such as the Sherlock Holmes stories or The Moonstone by Wilkie Collins or dystopian books such as 1984. Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde or Dracula might also be good choices.
