GCSE Revision summer schools 2015

As the title suggests Im looking for a residential (or non residential if local to bristol or London/Essex)
At the moment Ive only really found the 'Oxford Science Studies' which I'm close to booking but bit reserved as I can't really find any useful feedback on the web which makes me nervous as its a lot of money if you only have their testimonies to go by!
Has anyone had any experience of these courses.

My daughter is very bright but due to having some emotional stress and the wrong attitude is a couple of grades off what she should be.
She's now suddenly realising (after some shocking mock gcse results) she's doing GCSE's next year and she's not going to be able to get away with not revising and relying on natural ability as she has done for the past 3 years! and we finally have her back on board with the right attitude. Feels like a huge relief but now we really want to try to get her back where she should be to give her a revision boost going into year 11.

She struggles with the structure of revision due to being dyspraxia and Im hoping this will also help give her some structure going forward.

Would really appreciate any feedback on the summer revision courses.

Which GCSE subjects does your daughter require help with. Do you want a course with other pupils or private tuition?
If you would like private tuition in the Bristol area would recommend Cavendish Private tutors or Clifton tutors (fully qualified and checked tutors). Have used these agencies and would recommend.
This set up advertises for holiday revision but have no idea what they are like www.westerntutorialcollege.co.uk based in Bristol city centre.
Bath Academy does holiday revision courses but usually for Christmas/half term/Easter holidays www.bathacademy.co.uk/academic-programmes/revision-supplementary-tuition they may have links with similar colleges in London.
Hope that helps

Catslife I hadn't seen the first two you have posted. The //www.westerntutorialcollege.co.uk sounds very interesting I'm going to contact them. Would be far more affordable, less traveling and would mean we have money in the pot for one-to-one in addition.

She's doing: Spanish, Triple science, Maths, English, Drama, RS & History.

Very helpful, thank you!

They don't offer the intensive courses across all subjects but it was still useful as we are looking for a science tutor ongoing and they can help us with that. Thank you

Just in case they aren't able to cover all the subjects you would like here are links to the one-to-one tuition agencies www.cavendishprivatetutors.co.uk and www.cliftontutors.co.uk.
Hope you find the support for your dd you are looking for.
