DD has come home to say she is seeing them.
She already has senco involvement.

Anyone any ideas what this team might do?

We are in Notts and my ds1 (age 13 and in mainstream school) sees them regarding emotional and behavioural issues relating to his asd, but I think it's for any young people with emotional or mental health issues . They used to be called camhs.

If in school it's a team of the nurses, teachers with special responsibility for pastoral care, the person responsible for safeguarding and the school counsellors.

I'm a counsellor and work for the wellbeing team in a school.

Brilliant thank you.
DD thought she was seeing her form teacher for something but she has been referred to a lady from this team instead. (dd told me this not school)
She is not happy at all because she does not do strangers and I was trying to explain they were there to help her and what they did but obviously was not sure myself!
