Can anyone let me know their known views on this small but apparently very adequate Norfolk boarding school please.
Thank you.

Hi Charlie.

Although it is a small school, HOHS has a lovely friendly atmosphere and a real family feel to it that helps pupils to settle in quickly - especially important for those boarding. The school has excellent academic and sporting facilities and the grounds are great; the woods are a definite hit with pupils in the Prep School!

There are great teachers throughout the school and the smaller class sizes mean that all pupils get plenty of attention and help when needed. The girls who come through the senior school are very well adjusted, well mannered and very articulate. They always seem a lot older than their years! All girls leaving the Sixth Form achieve a place in their chosen university.

The blog (www.hohs-blog.com) can give you a fairly good feel for life at HOHS. It's definitely worth paying the school a visit and having a look around to get a feel for the place.

Hope that helps. Any more questions just send me a message.

Rachel

Hi Rachel,

That's a very good start and personal experience is invaluable. I'm looking for somewhere very friendly and its location is perfect for communing down the A11. I'll certainly take a look.

Thanks.

Hi Charlie.

You're welcome, I know choosing the right school can be a very stressful experience! HOHS is very easy to get to via the A11 as you avoid all the traffic going into town. There is also loads of parking available, which makes drop off and pick up very hassle free!

If you make an appointment to come and have a look around (with Linda Jones, the Registrar) say that you came via a recommendation on Mumsnet!!

Thanks,
Rachel
