Secondary Education Menston Ilkley

Thanks to Mumsnetters I now have a good picture of secondary education in the Leeds - Bradford area.
We are now looking at property in a number of areas and find what I expected - that family type houses are hard to come by in catchment areas for schools recommended by Mumsnetters.
There seems to be a number of properties for sale in Menston, Ilkley. This is given as the second priority area for Ilkley Grammar School. I sit on a Secondary School Admission Appeals Panel and my experience tells me that these circumstances may indicate that there may be admission problems for children from that area. Has anyone any information about this?
If Menston children cannot get into IGS where do they go for secondary education
