I have just got de's results.
for french unit 3 he got 93 and it is down as a c but when I look on the AQA website it says that the grade boundary for this mark on this paper he should have had an A. Can someone explain please?

Others will be better informed about this, but could 93 be his raw score, and you would need 93% for the A?

You need to download the UMS convertor pdf on the AQA website. The marks on the result slips are UMS marks and the mark sheet ypu are looking at on AQA is the raw, mark. Try store.aqa.org.uk/over/stat_pdf/UMS-GRADE-BOUNDARIES.PDF

(Hope link works. Just looked and it's 84 for a C and 98 for a B.)

Thanks i double checked and it was the raw score table I was looking at!
Never mind for a brief second things looked brighter. many thanks for your quick replies. This is worse than when I sat A levels!
