Prom dresses

DD1 is looking forward to her prom and has an exact idea of what dress she wants. I have an exact idea of what I want to spend! Where can we go shopping? She wants a pale blue, short dress. I don't want to spend a fortune. There will also be shoes and a bag to buy. I live in SW London.
Any ideas?

My great niece got hers on ebay from China. She had to give measurements and when it came it fitted her perfectly. No idea about shops though sorry.

Look at the Jones & Jones website. They have a lot of sale dresses and some of the 'younger suited' dresses come in a 4 or 6. My daughter got her end of yr7 dress there.

How about a dress by Quiz. They are reasonably priced and can be found in Debenhams.

Another vote for Quiz - they have a good selection and are not too expensive. DD got her hair bits in Claires.

DD1 found great dresses for both yr 11 & 6th form proms at TKMaxx - great prices and no one else had the same dress which she was very pleased about, DD2 got her yr11 prom dress from H&M - again a good price and not so shiny that she couldn't wear it again. None of the dresses cost more than 20 I think so very happy with their choices.

New Look also had some great things in their Label Lounge and have fabulous shoes too, we found the Kingston branch had lots of choice. HTH

I advise against ebay/ordering from China - we had a disaster a few years back and couldn't get our money back!

Lipsy
The usual high street ones - new look, topshop, river island etc...
if you can get down to Gunwarf Quays or Bichester Village outlets then there are outlet shops for places like ted baker with big discounts.
www.frockandfrill.com/ have some nice ones too.

DD1 - TKMaxx
DD2 - ASOS, but I had to alter it a bit, but that was OK

Thanks for the suggestions. I did find 2 in Quiz that she liked, but she doesn't like the back of them! (I told her to stand against the wall) They are elasticated and she thinks they are too reminiscent of children's sundresses. I like the Asos one, this is the kind of thing she has been suggesting. I'll show it to her and see what she thinks.
Thanks all. Knew I could get some help here.

At least she's narrowed it down to colour and length!

Love that ASOS one someone picked out above.

I'd just filter ASOS dresses by the colour blue, and then price, and see if there are any she likes!

asos1

asos2 could put a sparkly belt on?

not pale but very pretty:
