DS going for Wellington/St Paul/Wellington computer test in Oct + Tonbridge around that time as well. It is all computer based.
How would you prepare for that? Is there any good website/software you would recommend?

Thanks!

Bofa online is very good.

if they are the tests that adapt you can't really prepare. but doing online stuff like bofa will be helpful. tbh, i wouldn't worry too much. if the ds is a strong candidate in all likelihood he will get through the computer test.

I think these are set by the iseb...see www.iseb.co.uk/pretests.htm

In which case VR/NVR and maths practice is still very much relevant ...eve if the test is computer adaptive and less predictable than some of those used 11+ tests used in the past by some of the grammars....many of which are now also switching to a less predictable cem style test

and English of course, looking at the demo on the site there are also the cognitive ability/iq test type of questions which look like NVR anyway to me

There are four papers online each adaptive. GL assessment set them and you can get GL multiple choice papers in all four subjects to practise. Good solid English and Maths skills and VR/NVR practice required. How you will need to prepare will depend on your DS skills and gaps. Good luck!
