Help please - shadowing/work experience at a GPs in Cheshire/Wirral/Wrexham areas

Hello all. Please can anyone help my DD find some shadowing/work experience at a GPs, health centre, hospital or similar around the above areas? She is finishing her GCSEs on June 12th and looking to get some work experience over the summer. She has written to several GPs surgery outside of our area but has had yet another refusal letter this morning. She tried local surgeries last year but due to confidentiality reasons was told she would be better applying further away. She has done a week at a special needs school and does regular volunteer work. Unfortunately we don't have any friends that are GPs. Any help or advise gratefully received!

She is very unlikely to be able to do this with tighting of confidentiality reason , data protection and accountability . You could maybe see if she can volunteer to make tea etc on wards , but she will not be allowed to witness any procedures anymore.
You might get lucky by sending same standard letter to loads of different hospitals , gp etc .

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I really doubt that your DD will be able to arrange this until she is older, in the 6th form. I'm assuming that she is interested in a career in Medicine?
There may be other ways of showing interest/ gaining job knowledge/ learning about her own interests. What does she hope to gain from such a placement?
