Last night ds (yr8) brought home his school 'report', which consisted of a printed sheet of A4 with his attainment levels this year along with his 'target' level for each subject. There were no individual comments at all, so it's difficult to put this into context of whether he is working hard, how he can improve his work, attitude, behaviour etc.
Looking at the KS3 handbook we last got a 'full' report in March 2012 and will not get another one until Christmas ie a gap of about 21 months between full reports. I'm really disappointed about this and a bit shocked, but I don't have anything to compare this with - what do other schools do?
