Ds1 came home clutching a leaflet today, so not really any chance to get there on 3 hours notice!!

Good planning on behalf of the school, to ensure 2013 intake got information about the open evening info meeting only last minute.

We got all the info from the Richmond council. It hadmentioned all the schools and info came out early September. Our primary handed out the details of the open evenings too - maybe your primary needs to get better at sending you the relevant info

And we went along - it was very impressive - I think they are doing tours in the school day - worth getting along to one

Open evening/day info was on the Admissions pages on the our council's website where we are from the start of September - I don't think we got any info from either the primary or any of the local secondaries - you had to seek it out.

It was also published in the application pack, but I didn't bother getting a hard copy of that (all done online).
