Senior schools in Sawbridgeworth

I'd like to try and help a friend of mine who is going through a really rough patch just now. I know top of her list is sorting out a senior school for her daughter ready for next year but she is quite new to the area of Sawbridgeworth so really needs to do her homework before even doing some school visits etc.

If anyone has any knowledge of the schools there, a brief summary of them might really help her to make a start.

There is only one - The Leventhorpe School. Recently became an academy. Admission in year 7 is via feeder schools. Year 7 applications for 2012 need to be in in the next few weeks.
