Spanish resources for Y7-8 DS. Any ideas?

DS1 is 'OK' at Spanish which he started a year ago.

If at all possible, I'd like to be able to get him some Spanish DVDs or computer games, ie aimed at DCs learning Spanish or aimed at younger DCs in Spain. I'm thinking stuff like Spongebob Squarepants BUT I gather the Spanish is Latin-American not Castillian.

I'm not looking for a Spanish 'course' as such as that's what the schools teaching...!

Try //www.espanol-extra.co.uk. I think it is a subscription site but has loads of games and resources on it.

Find out if the school uses the linguascope.com website - its a really popular website and one that every school I've taught in has used. If they do, they will have a username and password for students to access the resources at home.
