An old pal and I are going to the theatre on a Saturday evening soon and we’d like to go for a lovely pre-theatre dinner.

Where’s nice these days? I lived in Glasgow about twenty years ago so I’m out of touch. grin

I’ve not seen my pal for years, so I’d like to go somewhere naice.

We always go to Azzurro on Cambridge St if we’re going to Theatre Royal or Conservatoire.
For King’s Theatre, we’d head for Punjabi Charing Cross. We used to go to Massimo directly opposite, but it’s called something else now.

We go to Brian Maule at the Chardon d'Or (on West Regent Street), booking their pre-theatre meal through 5pm.co.uk to get free coffee & chocolates.

If you're going to the Kings then Antipasti or Sartis for traditional italian.
