SEC Hydro age restrictions?

I've just bought tickets for my 13 year old DD and her 16 year old friend to go to a concert here. I couldn't find anything on their website about age restrictions but the ticket days under 16s need to be accompanied by over 18s. I've had friends that have let their under 16s go to concerts unaccompanied. Do they check at the door? This is her first concert without me so just a bit anxious she'll be refused! Maybe I should get about ticket for me just in case!

I've not seen that before at The Hydro, I'd call and double check though.

My DD (15) went to see Lana del Rey at Hydro last month and same thing - ticket said under 16s need to be accompanied by over 18s. They didn't even ask her age and she had no problem getting in. She said they were more concerned with checking bags. She's small and doesn't look 16. Could the 16-year old pass off as 18 if they challenge the 13-year old.

The 16 year old def could pass for 18-she's about 5'10". Thanks for replies. They probably don't have time to check everyone's age anyway. I'm just anxious as she'd be really disappointed if she doesn't get in. I might buy another 2 tickets in about section and go with a friend!

I think restrictions are sometimes concert specific so can be different depending on who you are seeing. Also sometimes it depends if there is standing. Usually under 16/18s aren't allowed to stand.

The only concert there has ever been an age check was JLS and that was sometime ago. Dd has been to quite a few since then and had no issues.

Age restrictions are usually event-specific rather than venue-specific
