DD is desperate to find out next year's teacher. Fingers crossed they tell us before then.

Friday & we found out 2 weeks ago about teachers.

Friday lunchtime in Stirling-shire. High school for us so S6 DS1 has only been in school a few days since he went on exam leave at the end of April and DS2 has been in S5 since exam leave ended at the beginning of June. The seem okay with the teachers they have so far.

Friday lunch and it can't come quick enough. I am done. Love my job but this has been a tough year and going to the 30th seems like an extra week. Kids are gubbed too.

Time for my only worries to be ensuring I have fresh mint for my jugs of Pimms (okay Aldi version) and stressing over Murray's Wimbledon performances .

I'm off the first two weeks then I spend the rest of the holidays (and the rest) in a windowless basement :(

Friday 3pm in Angus. DS has been second year for 3 weeks though.

Ours moved up a year at the beginning of May, so 2 months of new year before the holidays for the new 2nd, 3rd and 4th years while the old 4th, 5th and 6th years are off on exam leave. The runs without a 1st year class for a couple of months :)

Friday midday in Edinburgh.

Taking DS out of school Thursday & Friday to go on holiday. He's in P3 & work seemed to stop a week ago - last week it has been day trips, movies, church services. Have no qualms about taking him out.

Wednesday at 1pm. Ds finds out his new P7 teacher on Monday. Dd has already started her S3 timetable so has met her teachers

Wednesday at 1pm for us. June is always a hectic month for teacher/pupil households. The change of pace when the holidays start is like being hit with a sledgehammer.

Ellahen (great name) spot on! I drift about starting many jobs and finishing nothing in that first week. But going straight away on family holiday doesn't work either.
