I have my own very confused (slightly traumatised) feelings about this image.

What do you think?

I know politicians are getting legs and toes out this week but come on!

If this traumatises you then i suggest you stay off the internet altogether. Its a woman on a sofa with her shoes off signing a sheet of paper. Hardly traumatic.

She should have put her joggers and a jersey on if she was aiming for the working from home look. Who matches their outfit to their soft furnishings irl? Grin

My concern was more that it was a woman signing an important document regarding the future constitution of our country. She has decided to pose for the photograph curled up on the sofa with no shoes on?
I just find it odd- and a little funny.

It does however provide us with the ideal opportunity to compare toes.

Ruthie posted us a nice pic of her toes on twitter the other day.

She isn't signing it, she's drafting it.

I wouldn't worry about it, it'll be to manipulate us. Just needs to concentrate on running the country properly and using the devolved powers that they have appropriately.
Loved the statement that Theresa May was leaping into the dark with brexit, I'm beginning to wonder if NS is so crazy she doesn't even recognise the irony!

Does being curled up on a sofa somehow affect ones ability to sign a bit of paper? I doubt she is examining it or paying any real scrutiny to it at that precise moment, as that will have been done meticulously beforehand no doubt. She is literally scrawling her name on a bit of paper.

I dont like toes. Mines nor anyone elses. Give me the heebeejeebees. Actually i dont mind baby toes, or ds2 toes. Even ds1 has now joined the get your fucking toes the fuck away from me club,

She's hardly signing it 'with toes' that's a whole other image and I don't think any of us are ready for that

When I draft things I sit at the kitchen table with a laptop and paperwork, wearing pyjamas, crocs, and an old cardigan, slugging tea from a mug.

So I'm calling shenanigans. Hmm

I know. You'd think that being alarmed by toes in ones personal life would be enough to put us off seeing our leaders toes squished up against a sofa cushion.

She really is squishing that cushion. It will ruin the sofa.

This is what I find so funny I think... The fact that it is a clearly posed and choreographed image where she has even picked her blouse to match the upholstery, but then she has chosen to get her toes out.

What made me chuckle earlier was a Tweet from Ruth Davidson - the SNP Chairperson, Mr Nippy Nikki, had emailed her asking her to make a donation to the campaign for another referendum.

Now isn't that the sign of a party which has really got its shit together?

It's so pathetically contrived. "Ooh look at me, all nice and casual, not like that stuffy, buttoned up Theresa May"

We should really start putting in requests for this sort of thing.

Which politicians toes would we like to see next?

According to The Telegraph the sofa pose is an homage to a photo of Mrs T at work on the Downing Street sofa Grin

To be fair she has to do something to shake her lego man image. I find her stuffier and less relaxed looking than may tbh.

Apologies for the DM pollution but they have gone to the trouble of digging out the original Mrs T pose.

Too funny and I am also a child of Thatcher a couple of years older than Nippy I cannot believe she doesn't see how often she mimics her mentor - I still have my no 10 keyring bought for me when I was determined to grow up to show Mrs T where she was going wrong.

Just in case anyone is too sensitive to look Mrs T has toes out n all.

Thatcher is covered in boxes and bits of paper... looks more realistic, however she too has colour themed her outfit to match the upholstery.
