Where would be good for a beginner to ride their bike in St Andrews?

Is there a good bit of prom or similar? We want to show off skills to granny.

Nothing really comes to mind but it's a long time since I was at Uni there

How about along the (car park?) road beside the West Sands? Or some of the wider paths beside the golf courses?

Lade Braes.

Lade Braes looks ideal, thanks Chips, I had no idea it was there.

If you go right to the end of the west sands, there's a traffic free path which is really good. Or yes, Lade Braes, but some of it is really quite uneven ground where the tree routes are coming through! (Strictly speaking it's also no cycling too, but probably ok for wee ones)
