Rollercoaster has derailed at M&Ds in Glasgow. No fatalities but 11 (so far) injured -9 kids and 2 adults. Thoughts are with families and people who witnessed it, such an awful thing to happen!

I just saw this on the news. Horrendous.

Says the coaster has trains which hang below the track and the train has come away from the track while going round a corner, hit another piece of track below and then crashed into the ground.

I really hope everyone makes a full recovery and the injuries aren't as bad as it sounds they might be.

So grim. The place has looked poorly maintained for a long time.

I hope there's no serious injuries.

Horrible thing to happen. Thinking of those involved and those who witnessed it!

Has there been any further news locally on this? There doesn't seem to be an update nationally. Such a terrible accident, I hope everyone involved is well on the road to recovery today.

Not really. Local paper just described incident in further detail and that there are no fatalities. 3 young people in serious condition and another young person stable. One adult being treated also stable. Other casualties were treated for minor issues.
