My 2 go back on the 18th as well and dd is starting high school. Think I am more nervous about it than she is!

18th here too. Think we're organised, apart from new school bags with granny will get this week. Oh and coats!! (Sure last year's will be fine, but need to get them washed).

My Dd1 is starting secondary this year, so big event!

We go back on the 13 th. DS going into 5 th year. Very little frantic activity in comparison to previous years. He is now nearly 6 feet tall and a size 11 in shoes so I don't think he can grow much more. No more scuffed shoes and ripped trousers from playing football in the playground. He is now a semi nocturnal gamer and will be suffering jet lag for the first few days as his body clock resets. Roll on half term.

18th here too, Dd is now in her last year of school, ds is starting high school and my other ds starts nursery on the 24th.

My niece and nephew are starting P1 on Thursday!

Ds is going into S4. I think we're all prepared: finding trousers that are slim enough in the waist for him is a nightmare and he is now inbetween the Junior and Adult sizing for shoes. Ended up having to order Size 6s on-line from SportsDirect. But we've now got everything.

Mine are going back on the 20th - 3 extra days off for their decanted school to move back to the shiny new renovated/extended school - AND my DS4 is finally off to school, my last one grin <happy dance>

Champagne reception at mine @ 10am? wink

Thanks Euphemia. Hoping the weather is good on the first day so we can have a nice walk there and back.

She is so excited! I'm quite nervous but I am glad she's going, she'll love it. We don't know her teacher or class yet though.

Timeandtune DS2 aged 13 and going into 3rd year is just shy of 6 foot with size 11 feet, unfortunately he does still have a lot of growing to do! DS, just turned 15 and into 4th year is 6 2" same size feet.....also still has growing to do. His shins are like fecking pole vault poles!

We go back a week on Tuesday. Most uniform bought but suspect I'll be trying to let down trousers when we get back from holiday next weekend.

17th for Edinburgh. This time next week I will be enjoying peace. Staff back this week on Thursday.

18th for us too. Still to sort out shoes for dd & trousers for ds. Think they're both ok for shirts - dd going into S2 and ds into S5.

PiggyPlumPie Mon 10-Aug-15 11:59:43

18th here as well - not done any uniform shopping yet confused

ClaimedByMe Mon 10-Aug-15 12:02:50
