Is it just me?

Or has this election campaign been going on for a lot longer this year? I'm fed up with it and want to get back to business as usual. Though I suppose as I already know who I would vote for from the outset and haven't been interested in debating/reading leaflets/watching leaders debates etc maybe its just been duller for me compared to other people!

I'll be glad when its this time next week and its hopefully all been put to bed.

All I know is if another campaigner chaps my door when I've just put my 1yr old to sleep I'm going to scream Grin

I'd welcome someone knocking on my door - at a convenient time! I'd love to try to find out what they really think about the parties. (probably wouldn't though)

We had our first knock today :)

DH has been following it all and has been desperate to have someone come to the door/phone him so he's a happy bunny. I'm showing very little interest and always play my cards close to my chest anyway so he enjoyed having a chance to speak to someone who was interested in what he was saying :o

Yeah it's gone on forever..I think maybe because of the bloody awful referendum, it's like we've been bombarded with politics for years.

Or maybe that's just me. I started putting all electoral propaganda in a pile at my front door to show canvassers what I think of all this unsolicited wasted paper.

I'm voting for whichever party has forced the least amount on us Wink

Canvasser at the door last night urging tactical voting. I was not impressed with him. Often I close the door on canvassers with a feeling of respect for them for seeming to be genuine and going to the effort of door-knocking, but this guy did nothing to further his cause - even though I have quite a lot of sympathy for his party.

YY, it's because of the referendum.

I cannot be bothered with it at all tbh. Fed up to the back teeth of the lot of them.
