My DS is coming up to a year old and I miss working so so much. DP earns minimum wage and obviously I earn nothing. We get no help benefit wise as we're not entitled.
Not only do I want need more money, I miss the independence and having something for myself.

Do any SAHP work from home at all and what do you do? I can't go out to work so it would be my only option but I can't find anything I could do Sad probably want the impossible but I'm getting a bit desperate now!

Is there no way at all you could go out to work and get childcare. If you are that keen to get into something maybe you have to do this.

Why are you not entitled to anything when you have a single minimum wage income for a family?

Echoing what givemeabone just said, are you not entitled to tax credits or income support of some sort. I remember when I had my first child I was at uni and my partner earned 23k a year and we were entitled to something like 80.00 per month for my child's first year. I don't know much about working from home, I'm sure there are things out there. A lot of it seems sales based though and if you go into that just be careful about what sort of scheme you look into as you tend to hear horror stories. Hope you manage to work something out soon!
