I've taken the leap! I have a 10 month old baby and pretty much as soon as he was born I went back to work. It saved me from going insane. However I really felt like I was missing out on my little boy. I started to resent going to work and living for coming home to spend time with my little one. So I handed in my notice and now am a full time stay at home mummy!
Bloody hell its hard work! Everyone used to say "how on earth do you work and have a baby" but honestly that was so easy!
Now I never get a break but I've already felt like our relationship is so much stronger and I just love his presence!
What is everyone's tips and tricks for being a sahp? X

...when you say you've joined the dark side, do you mean that you've joined NetMums?? (that's what it usually means Wink).

It's knackering, but awesome! I never thought I'd become a SAHM, but I bloody love it!

It's so rewarding! Give me a month or two I'll probably be on here having a moan but seriously, this is the best job!

That's great that you are going to have time with your little one. For me I found I had to put a lot of energy into finding out about local groups so we could try a new one when he grew out of one. Your baby is going to change so much in the next year 1-2 is an awesome year.

Toddler groups are your friends! Make sure they are not to cliquey, and that they have good coffee😉

I'm so scared to go to toddler groups. I love my DS but I really dislike other people's children haha! I have a thing about toys that other kids have touched too! I'm so weird

Some are really good others give me the screaming horrors, it is one place you can have a coffee and a chat without worrying too much about the dcs. It also lets them run off some steam in company
