I've never not worked! It's been a total rollercoaster since I found out I was pregnant with dd at 35 weeks

My life has gone from working to save for a house with dp, to being a stay at home mum on benefits and trying to get a council house while DP has to move in with his mum who can't cope since his dad suddenly died in jan.

bah!

However I am over the moon that I don't have to send 7 month old dd to nursery Grin

Oh tatums you Couldnt make it up.

Quit my own business after 7 years in August, started working at a special needs school in September ( very agressive kids lots of restraining, getting punched etc) found out I was pregnant with dd after not feeling well, panicked for 2 weeks ( DP went awol) situation then was I was living with my elderly grandmother and cared for her overnight ( helping her to the loo, when she fell etc )

grandmother died ( panic about living arrangements) had dd after a week in hospital, home, christmas, dps dad dropped dead ( litteraly in the hall) DP got made redundant, been battling with depression, I had a touch of pnd. And that brings us to now. Both of us feeling better thank God and dd is amazing!

I need a sit down now haha.

You have had an awful time Ark I'm not surprised you need to get off the treadmill.

I'm sure you'll soon find your feet and whilst you have always worked I've never really worked since dc.
The freedom is what appeals to me and being able to come and go as I feel, pursue hobbies and interests.

As long as you don't see it as your job to do everything and the world's skivvy, you'll be ok, I think. Grin

Good luck and hope you enjoy your new found freedom x
