My partner and I are about to purchase our first house and we have found the one we want in Headcorn. The problem is we know very little about the area and are anxious to say the least! I have been trying to research flood risks and cant make head or tail of it all if I am honest. Does anyone have any advice they could offer regarding if flooding really is a huge deal, how often it happens and general advice about moving to the the area if you are familiar with it or even better if you live there. :)
Thank you in advance! x

I live near there and have not noticed an increased risk of flooding. Lots and lots of new houses being built there and I know they did have problems with old drains but this might have been improved. Pretty high street and good train service. There is a face book page that you could join and ask that question.
