Anyone from canford heath?

We planning to move to canford heath and anyone got any idea about that area? Please provide more information plz.

Not always the best for social commentary but read the Bournemouth Echo for current stories on the youth problem on Canford Heath. It use to be a nice area but has grown far too large in recent years. Not even slightly rural but has a bit of heathland left.

This worries me alot. My husband wanted to get on the property ladder asap so we ended up going to the canford near the ad astra school. Seriously dont know wat to do

Are you at the point of no return and if not what is budget and requirements? As said above it Isn’t rural apart from the Heath which has suffered from being set on fire deliberately.

@PostNotInHaste we have signed our contract now. Budget is under £240k and we couldn't find any better house.

Yes sadly that isn’t a lot for the area
It will be absolutely fine, you are close to the sea and New Forest with lots of stuff to do,

Interest rates are low now so try to take advantage of that and overpay your mortgage if you can and build up some equity then when the time is right you’ll be able to look at moving to your next home if you feel you want to move on.
