For me it is the Northumberland coast or the West coast of Scotland. Beautiful white sandy beaches ..... and not that many people.

North Norfolk. So many beautiful beaches, the locals are lovely once you get to know them, amazing community feeling, relatively easy to get out to London and beyond. Just a fabulous place to live.

I lived in North Norfolk for a decade Mustard Grin, Holkham was our local beach. Lovely (but boringly flat, although cycling was much easier) and the A47/A17 takes forever to get to a main artery road.

SW Scotland, empty wild beaches and coves. Warm in winter due to the Gulf Stream.

I'm thinking of moving to shoeburyness, any info would be greatly appreciated.
