Moving to Aveley Essex

Hello All

I'd like to know some opinions of anyone who currently lives in Aveley Essex. Due to circumstances I won't go into, I have found myself in a situation where I am having to move quite urgently with my primary school aged children (I have 2 children) and my only option is with my current partner who lives in aveley.

I don't know this area at all, (I am from a small village in kent) and wanted some advice on schools and anything I should avoid. My partner has lived here for years but doesn't go out locally - his mates live further out - so he doesn't really know.

I am nervous about the move - I have spent years building a good network of friends around me and have been lucky that my kids have gone to a small village school (100 children total!!) and if I didn't have to move, I wouldn't.
