I'm discussing flexi retirement with my NHS employer. If they agree to it then decide my post is no longer exists (we are about to undergo some reorganisation) can they refuse to re-employ me? I have to take a mandatory 24 hour break from employment. Does this leave me too vulnerable or is it ethically or legally wrong for them to do this?
