Would you be annoyed if someone you really liked contacted your closest friend on fb? Even if it was to plan a surprise.

mammadiggingdeep Sat 12-Oct-13 17:48:27

Unless there's more to it, no I wouldn't.

What an odd question.

Flojobunny Sat 12-Oct-13 17:57:26

Unless u had something to hide?

gamerchick Sat 12-Oct-13 17:58:20

No idea what you're on about?

FacebookWanker Sat 12-Oct-13 17:59:01

I'm glad it's not just me who doesn't understand...

Flojobunny Sat 12-Oct-13 18:01:59

I messaged

Flojobunny Sat 12-Oct-13 18:04:48

I messaged one of his mates on facebook to plan something for his birthday in 2 weeks, we haven't been seeing each other long so was undecided, and he's very angry. Questioning whether we should even be together. Said I'm out of order.

Bigbrassband Sat 12-Oct-13 18:07:15

Er, dump him. If he's this irrational now then it'll only get worse, what you're seeing is the tip of the iceberg.

FacebookWanker Sat 12-Oct-13 18:07:47

Seems like a bit of an over reaction....

Chubfuddler Sat 12-Oct-13 18:08:49

Dump. He's weird

FracturedViewOfLife Sat 12-Oct-13 18:09:58

He's angry you wanted to plan something for his birthday and dared to message one of his friends?

You've not been together long, I wouldn't bother being together much longer.

perplexedpirate Sat 12-Oct-13 18:10:03

Weird and ungrateful. Ditch this loser.

Flojobunny Sat 12-Oct-13 18:10:37

Thankyou, I was beginning to think I'd breached some weird privacy fb thing.

mammadiggingdeep Sat 12-Oct-13 18:10:52

Still don't really get it but if u messages a friend to surprise him then it was a nice thing to do? No? Unless you really haven't been together long enough to be messaging his friends and getting involved in his birthday plans?? As in,...a few weeks or something. Then yes, maybe that's 'a bit much'.
How long exactly have you been together?

HandragsAndGladbags Sat 12-Oct-13 18:11:45

Something to hide imo

WaitingForMe Sat 12-Oct-13 18:12:53

Run. Run away now!

mammadiggingdeep Sat 12-Oct-13 18:20:13

Hang on a minute!!! Lets find out how long they've been together first...if its 3 weeks then IMO its a bit much. If a guy did that the other way round Peoria would be saying red flag, too full on etc etc.
op, how long have you been with him?

Flojobunny Sat 12-Oct-13 18:20:30

We've only been serious about each other for a couple of m

mammadiggingdeep Sat 12-Oct-13 18:20:49

Peoria??!! I meant people...typo. Who the dickens is Peoria?! Lol

Flojobunny Sat 12-Oct-13 18:22:09

Damn this phone.
A couple of months. But he's the one that's been full on. Told me he loved me. Told me he wanted to spend his birthday with me. So maybe I got carried away with things and didnt think clearly? Maybe he's right?

Thisisaeuphemism Sat 12-Oct-13 18:22:22

I wouldn't like it much. Really.

Thisisaeuphemism Sat 12-Oct-13 18:23:36

And I don't have anything to hide.

His reaction suggests you're incomparable to me, not that he is wrong.

Thisisaeuphemism Sat 12-Oct-13 18:24:42

Incompatable. Doh.
