Bum Sex & Wind

Sorry to lower the tone, but it is Friday and I've waited a while to find some advice/empathy for the following the problem. It sounds hysterical, indeed if I were to read about this on mn I would be rofl. However, it is a genuine problem and I'm wondering if it's a common occurrence.

Dh and I have recently began engaging in erm...rear entry bedroom antics. The issue is, immediately afterwards I suffer dreadful wind and if I pop to the loo I will almost blow the toilet off the wall and also well, pebble dash the pan. I also continue to be a bit windy the following day and worst of all I have no control over it

We only ever engage in such activities if I been to the loo within a couple of hours previous. The post shag messiness is really off putting and I often wonder how gay men put up with it! Is there something I can do? I'm not really keen on enemas or wash outs or whatever as it's always a spontaneous thing.

Umm, you should be using a condom and lots and lots of lubricant (so I hear).

Do you actually enjoy doing this? Doesn't sound spontaneous to me. Do you have a daily bowel movement?

@Bran: love it!

Don't do it very often but always happens...just part of the package I'm afraid!!! Try and find a loo in a quiet place or sing loudly!!!

Why should one always use a condom then? (out of interest..!)

Suggest you only do it on Saturdays and then go to first catholic mass of the morning (well they are so dreary, you would be doing everyone else a favour by farting all the way through!)

probably your DH is treating this like vaginal sex and going too hard and too fast.
I'd take this as a sign that your body is not up for this and unless you fancy anal leakage being something to enjoy in the future, I'd be asking myself if it really is that mind blowing an experience to risk damage.

Helium - use a condom to protect from diseases, especially blood borne ones like HIV and Hepatitis. Even if you are in a long term monongomous relationship remember that the virus that causes most cervical cancer (strains of HPV) also causes anal cancer. As there is no such thing as an "anal smear" best not to be risking catching this.

eugh, i used to experience this aswell and tbh it put me off the whole thing. i dont want that to be the reminder for a night of passion. and yes you should be using a condom and lube.

So glad at least one person shares my

Fwiw, we use lots of lube, bowel movements are daily and it's become something we both enjoy. It's not a regular thing, just when we fancy a change so to speak. We don't use condoms, both only had 2 previous partners each and used condoms with them. Having been together so long, condoms have become something of the dim and distant past. Dh is also always gentle and loving, certainly not hard or fast. He finds the whole thing very funny, but I guess thats men for you.

Fizzfiend, thanks for the advice, I once tried coughing but that made it a whole lot worse

Whomovedmychocolate, you have reminded me of being at a Christmas service with a friend who accidently farted VERY loudly during the Lords prayer

Well I'm no expert on bum sex (but glad I've found a thread) a low carb diet seems to eliminate wind completely.

Oh dear! I have never had that problem! In fact I don't tend to poo as much the day after. My friend once told me 'there's always an element of poo in bunsex' and I didn't get what she meant! I do now...Maybe your DH is massive? We always use condoms for hygiene reasons and plenty of lube. I really wouldn't start messing about with enemas bumsex is fun, but not fun enough for that!

I remember watching a program about it (Not sure why I was lol) but they said that you should try a bowel movement but also if its planned that night when you shower . . Insert a VERY soapy finger up there to kinda clear the way!

Omg. I have never had anal sex. If a tiny bit of me was wondering if I was actually missing out on something, this thread has reassured me I am not.

op, it's just air, honestly. Even if you were to prepare it, wash out etc, you'd still get it. If you enjoy it, try preparing yourself, and everything will be so much cleaner.

TDiddy · 03/07/2010 00:01
